  • Barry Campbell

    Chair

    Barry Campbell - communitylend board of directors Barry Campbell, President of Campbell Strategies in Toronto, served as a Member of the Parliament of Canada from 1993 to 1997. During that time, he served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance (later Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Paul Martin). In this capacity, he assisted in the development of the budgetary policy of the Government of Canada, and assisted in tax policy, trade policy and financial services sector policy. Mr. Campbell served for two years as Vice-Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance.

    Prior to his election to Parliament, Mr. Campbell practiced corporate law in Toronto. Mr. Campbell served as a Legal Counsellor at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC.

  • Jim Jones

    Director

    Jim Jones Mr. Jones is an experienced profession in financial services. Most recently he was the CEO of GMAC Residential Capital, LLC (ResCap), a diversified real estate finance company that offers a broad array of innovative capital solutions to businesses and consumers worldwide. Mr. Jones had previously served as Vice Chairman at Providian Financial, President of Direct Banking and Insurance, as well as Head of Consumer Credit, at Bank of America, and previously worked in senior leadership positions at Wells Fargo and Citigroup. Mr. Jones serves as a board member of Merchant E-Solutions, and is Chairman of the Board of Advanced Payment Solutions. Previously, he had served as a board member of E-Loan. Jones earned a Bachelors from Washburn University, and received a M.A. from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Business degree from the University of Kansas.

  • Anthony Novac

    Anthony Novac Anthony Novac is an accomplished technology and real estate developer, angel investor and entrepreneur.

    Currently Anthony is the CEO and co-founder of Toronto based technology start-up, Spreed Inc. and is the President of an entertainment focused real estate development company.

    Previous to this, Anthony had been a co-founder and CEO to three companies in the last 7 years, all of which Anthony has lead the growth and sold off to the delight of his shareholders and investors.

    As an angel investor, Anthony is actively engaged in advice to start-ups in which he is personally invested.

    Anthony heralds from Halifax and currently lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
